Award in Literacy and Dyslexia​ Application Process

As we have a limited number of places, applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis.

This course, consisting of three modules, delves into a deep understanding of dyslexia and enables educators and therapists to profile learners with literacy difficulties, including dyslexia, and provide appropriate evidence-based educational intervention.

Module 1 will commence on 15 August 2023 and finish with an assignment on 14 November 2023.  Module 2 will begin in January 2024.

Please select from the drop-down menu, whether you are applying for the Full course (committing to all three modules) or per Module, which means you are committing to pay for the course in three installments, payable in full before each module begins. This also allows you to exit the course at the end of a module should you wish to.

Once you have paid your application fee and we have received your order, we will be in contact within 5 working days to finalise the application process.  In the meantime, please get the following documents ready for your application:

  1. Certified copy of your Identity Document
  2. Certified copy of your qualification/s
  3. Certified copy of your SACE/HPCSA Registration
  4. A CV/document demonstrating at least two years relevant work experience
  5. A certificate of clearance from the Sexual Offenders Register – SOR (for Module 2 onwards)
  6. A certificate of clearance from the Child Protection Register – CPR (for Module 2 onwards)
