“Accommodations, provided for both testing and instruction, change the way students access information and demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and abilities; they do not change academic standards or expectations.” International Dyslexia Association.

In order to be an inclusive school, it is important to explore what accommodations are available in South Africa in order for each learner to reach his/her full potential.

This course will explore different accommodations and include case studies for practical application.

This course will take you through a video after which you will have the opportunity to reflect on case studies, either on your own or as group work within your school group. Slides are available for download after the video.
