In order to be an inclusive school, it is important to explore what accommodations are available in South Africa in order for each learner to reach his/her full potential.
This course will explore different accommodations and include case studies for practical application.
This course will take you through a video after which you will have the opportunity to reflect on case studies, either on your own or as group work within your school group. Slides are available for download after the video.

Karen Archer has worked in education for almost 20 years.
Starting out as a senior phase educator in mainstream schools, she then went onto achieve her Masters in Educational Psychology and has worked at Bellavista School for the past eight years.
Her passion for inclusion grew and together with her background in teaching, she is now working as the Director of S.H.A.R.E., a division of Bellavista School dedicated to sharing their professional knowledge, experience and collective expertise with the community of education and healthcare professionals working with children.
