Instrumental Enrichment (IE)- Basic Training
Thank you for signing up for our workshop Instrumental Enrichment (IE)- Basic Training.
We will send you further information closer to the time.
Teaching our children to be strong, independent thinkers is instrumental for success in school, social interactions and life in general. We need to equip our children with the necessary skills for 21st century learning.
The Feuerstein Method is a unique educational technique developed by world-renowned educational and developmental psychologist Reuven Feuerstein. It is a process-based approach, which focuses on developing the skill of ‘learning how to learn’. Feuerstein’s Instrumental Enrichment Basic (FIE Basic) is a cognitive enrichment program that creates systematic and structured conditions to engage young children in problem-solving and metacognition. The programme, which can be used with whole classes, small groups or on an individual level; aims to develop basic concepts, emerging cognitive functions, language, social-emotional skills, academics and intrinsic motivation. The goal is to build deep thinkers who can problem solve and grapple with all types of information and situations in academics and life.
The Feuerstein online courses use learning modalities that include live Zoom classes, pre-recorded lectures, and independent work (both individually and in small groups).
This interactive online course is open to educators, clinicians, professionals, students, and parents working with younger children.
Certificates are awarded from the Feuerstein Institute on completion.
