Thriving at the Edge of Chaos: Understanding your child with ADHD

This webinar series provides parents with a wide variety of skills and techniques that will equip them to deal more effectively with their child with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
The course will explore how the brain of the ADHD child works and what the major cognitive functions affected by ADHD is. Lorian will provide guidance on how to motivate the child, using different behavioural strategies, and how to deal with emotional fallouts related to ADHD- be it anxiety, aggression, or meltdowns.
Lorian Phillips has been in private practice for the past 24 years and has a special interest in ADHD due to her experiences with her two sons. Lorian will host only 20 participants providing a more personable forum.

About the Presenter
Lorian Phillips has been in private practice for the past 24 years and has a special interest in ADHD due to her experiences with her two sons.
As a result of learning to understand and work more effectively with them, she developed a Parenting Course for parents of ADHD children that she has been running for the past seven years.
In addition, she also gives regular talks on working with the ADHD child at different schools and on parenting forums.
