This workshop explores how metacognitive strategies can support anxious students in regulating their emotions so that they are able to learn and thrive. Pulling on research from cognitive psychology and education, we will learn how to support students in recognising and reflecting on their thought patterns, develop a greater awareness of emotional triggers and build emotional resilience to navigate academic challenges with confidence.
