Session 1:

An overview and understanding of learning difficulties and reasons why some learners may need accommodations. These include dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, processing speed and working memory.

Session 2:

This session includes a discussion on accommodations and the development and use of Individual Education Plan (IEP). It also creates an awareness on school policies/ guidelines the implementation of accommodations, IEPs, and prompters, readers and scribes.

Session 3:

This session includes practical aspects and tools for becoming a functional, ethical and impartial prompter, reader and/or scribe.

Each session will conclude with a multiple-choice assessment that will unlock the next session. Upon successful completion of a final case study assessment, also in the form of multiple choice questions, you’ll receive your certificate when you achieve a score of 75% or above.
