Join us to explore Scarborough’s Reading Rope, a foundational framework within the Science of Reading that has reshaped understanding of how skilled reading develops and why learners experience difficulty.
This workshop will provide a deep, research informed exploration of the intertwined strands of word recognition and language comprehension and their implications for assessment, instruction and intervention. Participants will gain clarity on how the Reading Rope translates into practical classroom and remedial practice, particularly for learners with dyslexia and other literacy challenges.
