This workshop will offer:

•A guide for educators and administrators on how to effectively navigate school disciplinary hearings through gaining an understanding of the legal framework governing student discipline; learn strategies for ensuring fair and transparent processes and explore best practices for preparing and presenting cases

•Aims to equip school personnel with the tools to handle disciplinary hearings with confidence, fairness, and a focus on restorative practice

Participants are encouraged to bring their school’s code of conduct and be familiar with it. There will be time during the workshop to answer questions and discuss relevant cases.
