Regulate to Educate is a fundamental principle in fostering a structured and effective sensory learning classroom and school environment. We are all sensory beings and as such benefit from sensory-motor activities to support our level of alertness. By understanding what activities work to calm or alert children, parents, educators and therapists can promote an optimal learning space where children can be more available to participate, learn and master skills.
