The talk will look at social media, specifically focusing on adolescents. Hennie will explore psychological aspects, the advantages, and disadvantages of social media.
This talk will offer practical ways to use different platforms, offers tips for parents and provide teenagers assistance on how to manage the dangers of the digital world.

Hennie Vorster qualified as an educational psychologist in 2001 at University of Johannesburg.
In 2003 he completed the advanced business and life coaching certificate through UNISA.
Since 2002, Hennie has been in private practice as an Educational Psychologist. His practice is at the Wholeness Centre at Mosaiek Church in Fairland and he works at various educational institutions. Currently, he is also an Educational Psychologist at Bellavista School.
Hennie has a passion to work with people. He has extensive experience with the assessment of children, teenagers and adults in order to assist with the correct placement of school and career.
In his practice, his focus area is children, teenagers and adults to support them through difficult situations.
He also does parental guidance and family dynamic counselling. Hennie is involved with corporates and has assisted many companies with training, coaching and assessment of employees.
